Behind the Design – Meet the Founders of the Salt + Soda Brand
Established in 2014, from humble market beginnings, the conception of Salt + Soda was at an opportune moment in time when founder Jo found herself seeking beautifully crafted, wearable fashion for women that was proving otherwise difficult to find. So, she set about to create it herself and for those just like her. In the warm summer months, with her daughter Belle by her side, Jo travelled across her home state of Victoria to share her Salt + Soda styles at weekend markets. Due to demand, an online presence for the label was created, which has since grown into one of Australia’s leading fashion destinations for women that you know and love today.
Both Jo and Belle still grace our online spaces with their styling advice and smiles, appearing across all product pages, social media platforms and forming a strong part of our customer service team who are on hand to guide you through our store.
