The Story Behind Our Scrunchie ♡
As you know [or for those of you who don't] - we are all about 'where your clothes are made'. We have a beautiful team of families handcrafting our designs from their village in Bali, Indonesia. We are proud to tell you that by supporting Salt + Soda, in turn you have been providing work for this village throughout what has been otherwise, very challenging times.

In a further movement to support our makers, we have one beautiful family who has a daughter with a disability, restricting her from being able to work in anyway. That is where our scrunchie comes into play. Through loving & careful instruction, her father has been able to teach her to craft our scrunchies, giving her purpose in every day & a project to call her own. She is now able to earn herself an income by creating these for you.

Not only that the scrunchies are made using leftover fabric from our garment production, which reduces our waste. We feel this is a real win win for all ♡
